Final MVC3 roster?

These are the characters so far and with the 42 character number going around, with the "leaked" characters then that number would be true....

This, i know its small, but I dont know where they got this image from but it does list the final reveals of the roster. I am fine with this roster but am a little sad at the loss of Gambit...
Only time will tell...

Amanda's Tale Update

Drawing is all done and wrapped for the movie and more than half the movie has been scanned into the computer.
Coloring phase has begun and moving at an alright pace. Nice of me to give myself a good headstart on it when I was in Ocean City.
Now to see how long it is going to take to color every....single.....thing....

Cool Scott Pilgrim posters

MVC3 tid bits

The story of MVC3 has been revealed.
Seems like a cliche thrown together story to me.
Although I do think that the powerful threat might be Galactus which would explain the Silver Surfer rumor going around.....

Next up is another silouhette logo.
Now, word around the net is that this is fake so we shall see.
Personally I hope it is fake because the one on the end looks like Fing Fang Foom which would not work and I would not like at all.

MVC3 Magneto and MODOK art

MVC3 Spider-Man costumes

Proof of the alternate costumes.
This is super exciting!! I can't wait to see what other outfits the other characters have!

HUGE MvC3 Reveals

First up we have the official art for Spider-Man:

Next we see that they are indeed adding extra costumes that aren't just color changes!!
The following you can see Spidey donning his Symbiote Spider-Man costume!

MAGNETO is back!

Spencer from the game Bionic Commando.
I never played the orignal game on NES but there was a sequel made recently and this is his look in it. Although with extra costumes we could see his orignal duds.

Arthur from the super tough game Ghosts N Goblins.
I used to play this when I was younger and it is the hardest game ever made!
As you get hit, his armor falls off in the game so it's nice to see they kept that in for this game.

MODOK.........yes him.....why, I don't know.
I am not a fan and it is going to be interesting to see how he fights.
If this idiot makes it in then Gambit better make it in......

We shall see what else they have in store for us as the release date gets closer day by day.

Green Lantern animated series coming

Well I guess they are just gonna keep tieing everything in with every movie coming out.
You know, not every single movie needs a tv show tie in

Trailer for Captain America game

Spider-Man movie update

Emma Stone will not be playing Mary Jane in the upcoming spider-man movie.
She was just cast as Gwen Stacy.......
Marvel, I swear if you pull more crap......
BUT, i will wait to see how it turns out, cause well, i was against ledger as joker at first and look how that turned out.

New X-Men game revealed

Here is the link to the official website with the trailer for it.
No gameplay but I have a odd feeling you won't be playing as any of the x-men......

Video Game Review - Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions

Spider-Man gets one of his best games ever!
Shattered Dimensions takes place as Mysterio is stealing a precious tablet from a museum. Spider-Man swings in to stop him and in the process accidentally breaks the tablet into 12 pieces that travel into different dimensions and times. With the aid of Madame Web, each dimension that the tablet has fallen into has its own version of Spider-Man who are contacted by Web and go off looking for the tablet pieces.
The first dimension is the classic red & blue costume Spider-Man, here called Amazing spider-man. His world is the regular world and is presented in a almost comic book style. Everything has a nice ink outline around them. This spidey is voiced by Neil Patrick Harris who voiced spider-man in the MTV computer generated spider-man cartoon a few years back. This world he must defeat Kraven the Hunter, Sandman, and Juggernaut who are all great except I am left wondering why the choice of Juggernaut over Rhino, but oh well.
The second dimension is the Noir dimension. Here it is the 1930s and this Spider-Man acts as a sort of Batman. Sneaks around in the shadows and takes out thugs without being noticed by the other thugs. The areas are all dark and black and white with some gold and yellow around for spotlights and such. It ends in a carnival with great fireworks and a very odd haunted house. Noir Spider-Man must do battle with Hammerhead, Vulture, and Goblin. The style is a lot more mature and has a Sin City quality to it. This spidey is voiced by Christopher Daniel Barnes who voiced spidey on the 90s animated Spider-Man cartoon that was on Fox.
The third dimension is Spider-Man 2099. This one is obviously in the future and pushes the graphical limits of the game. There is so much detail here and the world is truly alive with cars and such everywhere. Spidey is voiced by the actor that voiced spider-man in the 80s cartoon spider-man and his amazing friends. It was truly amazing to hear him once again.
He must defeat Hobgoblin, Scorpion, and Dr. Octopus. In this dimension they are all futurized and have a different look to them, the most jarring although not if you know the comics, is doctor octopus...who is female.
The final dimension is the Ultimate Spider-Man universe who is decked out in his symbiote suit. This dimension is cel-shaded and made to look just like the comic. The spidey here is voiced by the actor who voices spidey in the recently cancelled but great Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon. The villains of this world are Electro, Deadpool, and Carnage. Carnage's level being one of the best in the game as you are put in the middle of a huge battle between S.H.I.E.L.D agents and zombies haha. Deadpool is also a treat as he doesn't ever stop talking and is hilarious and says a lot of little ultimate spider-man easter eggs as well as video game cliche sayings. He even gets annoyed if you pause the game!
The game was very well done and was just what the spider-man game library needed. Sure there isn't any free roam city to explore but just play ANY of the spider-man games before this to get that. The enemies do get slightly repetitive but you really do feel like you are spider-man.
Plus as an added bonus you can unlock more spider-man costumes to play as even more spider-men like the Scarlet Spider!
A huge recommendation from me!

Video Game Review - Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

Wow what a game!
This game, available for download on xboxlive and psn, follows the story and events of the comics and movie very closely. Scott, joined by 3 others including his 2 bandmates and Ramona herself, has to defeat Ramona's 7 evil ex's to win her completely.
The game is a huge throwback to old school video games and has many many references to specific games littered throughout. From the mario bros 2 character select screen to a few street fighter moments.
The game is a straight beat em up with a boss battle at the end of each stage. You can level up your character as you go and buy items to bring up their stats and trust me, you are going to want to do that. The difficulty really ramps up after the second evil ex.
The music in this game is some of the best 8 bit music i've ever heard and makes me want to go back and replay levels just to hear the music again.
A very good game if you like side scrolling beat em ups like double dragon, battletoads, ninja turtles, etc..
Definately recommended!

Video Game Review - Alone in the Dark

Ugh, where to begin...
Alone in the Dark is about our main character Edward Carnby being caught up in the middle of what seems like the end of New York as we know it. Demons and possessions and such are around every corner. As Edward meets a few people he begins to be told that he is the light bringer and is the only one that can stop this madness. He has to find a key and open a gate or whatever, I dont know for sure cause it was a little sketchy.
This game is the fifth in the series.
The orignal Alone in the Dark was a PC game more than ten years ago. I would much rather play that one.
The story in this game sort of limped along and never really became concrete or even had me very interested. But, the ending......sweet christmas.....The worst nonexistant ending in any game ever made. He literally sees the evil and walks away saying in other words 'forget it' aaaaaaand credits.
Graphics are good but nothing to really be impressed with. They have a sort of first generation of games for this line of systems look to them.
Fire is used in this game for EVERYTHING. The fire is very well animated and responds just like real fire would. Kinda the only good thing this game has.
The music is very good and the one saving grace that kinda keeps you going sometimes. Very good top notch music for such a low notch game.
The difficulty isn't hard it's just that it is so cheap and irritating and frustrating and hair rip out rediculous. The driving sections are the worst, with cars that have butter for wheels and just argh.
Bottom line:
Just leave this game be. Go seek out the orignal and play that instead.

Spider-Man reboot casting

So far the casting of the upcoming July 3, 2012 Spider-man movie are as follows:

Andrew Garfield will be playing Peter Parker / Spider-man:

Looks alright to me, don't really have much problem with Andrew. Shouldn't be too hard to be a better actor than Tobey Macquire.

Next up is Emma Stone for the role of Mary Jane:

A real red head playing Mary Jane! She looks a little young but we shall see where this movie goes. No problem with this choice either.

Now this reboot is said to follow the Ultimate Spider-Man comics which I have read the first 100 issues of and I really enjoyed a lot. But I don't want to see another origin story but who knows.
Wonder who the villain will be?
