I've been thinking of a painting
That I've created in my mind
It's a painting of something special
For which colors are hard to find
I've searched all over
Even the rainbow that leads to the gold
In hope of finding those special colors
For my canvas to hold

I know this painting would turn out right
If I had those colors to start
Special colors full of emotions
From which I could paint from my heart
I'm not the best of painters
Just a person with an empty palette of dreams
Someone searching for the color of love
And searching forever as it seems

What is the color of love
And why is it so hard to find
I know exactly what it looks like
But I only see it in my mind
Perhaps those colors are already with me
Somewhere deep inside
And can only be released through my emotions
Which I know I just can't hide

There's a masterpiece in my heart
Which my canvas will soon acquire
And with every brush stroke that I'd make
It soon would be ready to admire

To add to my palette

Admiring the beauty of the ocean waves
Drifting towards the land
I wondered about the journey they traveled
To eventually reach the sand
I've always dreamed about taking a journey
To a place along the sea
Where every moment is timeless
In a world of magic and mystery

Watching the seabirds in flight
Appearing like a silhouette
Against the backdrop of the moonlight
We found ourselves on a magical journey
To a place we wanted to be
When we ventured into the darkness
Towards the sounds of the romantic sea

We walked along the shoreline
Pausing to write in the sand
As we engaged on this timeless journey
To a special wonderland
Some kind of magic took over my heart
When you looked into my eyes
