Memories of You are My World

The best memories are always the ones that mean the most and are only shared by you and one other person.  When that person is your true love, those memories and in jokes elevate to levels that make them that much more enjoyable.  My brain is full of those from end to end, each one made better than the last because of one person.  Megels.  You can touch my heart and my funny bone in such ways that I am constantly running them on a loop in my head throughout my day.  There are a list of greatest hits that I go back to time after time.
Driving to find Ikea and trying to find the entrance around the back of the complex and it taking us corner after corner for what seemed like a thousand miles.  The longer we drove the farther the building stretched with no end in sight.  Every time we came to a new turn we hoped that this would be the one where we exited out into the parking lot, even passing another car while we drove and wondering when they started looking and how long they had been there.
Watching Sinister with you in my room and you jumping out of your skin at every scare moment in the movie.  To this day I haven't watched the movie again, the haunting images stuck in my head.  That was the first and only time I saw you that scared to where you were even shaking a little.
Going to our first comic con together and meeting the black ranger.  Seeing all of the tables set up with art and getting ideas for my own as well as you posing with the Lego darth vader.  Then seeing the picture afterwards and wondering what happened to the black ranger's one finger.  We would stop at the bridal store in the area afterwards so that you could catch up with a coworker from the past.
Staying up watching Are You Afraid of the Dark and eating McDonalds after the long awful night of a store reset while working at the Limited.  The reset seemed to go on forever and they had no sympathies for us while we were there and once we were finally let out we were so exhausted and angry and just went home and ate with some 90s TV.  It was always amazing how much you remembered from those shows including a reoccurring character and even some of his lines.  Your memory was always impressive and helped the experience that much more.
Anytime during the day when anyone needed a quick laugh or a pickup, one of us would send the other that picture of the cat with the words about him farting and hoping nobody would notice.  That pic alone got so much mileage out of our laughter.  Added to it was the Flash posing in a dance pose with the word FlashDance above it and the turtle yelling its little squeaky noise out loud.  Later I would add the ever ridiculous Darth Vader scream in the background when we would facetime about things and you would hear the familiar Noooooo, yelled by Mr. Skywalker himself.
Watching Netflix together over text when we weren't close to one another to do it together.  Whether it was when you were in Ohio, a few streets over, or in another state.  From the Artist to Coraline to Addams Family to even lined up episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark.  Taking it to the next level and playing the guess the song game with you while you facetimed your beautiful face for me to watch guess.  Your knowledge of music is unparalleled.
Being at Universal Studios while a parade started and not being aware until it was in full spring.  We had to get to the Terminator showing at a certain time and on our way over we started our way over and could not cross through the parade itself so we had to find an opening somewhere.  It took us way out of the way and once we did find a hole, we ran through it and down half the park to the area we needed.  Seeing you run with your backpack on and me trialing behind had me cracking up so much.
The rain there and talking to the store merchant inside waiting for the rain and how much he liked the comic con in the area.
The small moments like your crinkly nose smile.
The way your fingers caressed mine when they held.
Asking me if I shit myself after everytime I would fart.
The way you pronounced juice and wallet.
The music you would play in the morning while you got ready for work.
Seeing your fingers on the controller while you gamed your favorite games.
Driving with one hand on the wheel and the other with a cigarette out the window.
The amount of memories you saved in your blue box that I still have with me.
Leaving me a lipstick kiss on a piece of paper on the counter for me to wake up to.
Making you art and your face when you saw it being done.
The way you make me feel any second of every day.

Missing you the world over and wishing on every star that one day I can hear your voice again and hold you tightly.  Sleep is emptier without you grasping on to me during the night.  There are so many memories and adventures with you that make up my days and so much more I want to share with you.  I love you so much dew drop, my heart is beating only for you, always.

Love, Your Edward
